While I have over 15 years as a professional photographer, 5 of those years in Kalamazoo, I have never done the popular sunflower photoshoot in the fall. This was more out of lack of knowing where to go and once I did find a place, the flowers were not sunning anymore!
This year, join me at Shades of Lavender in Mattawan Michigan, on Saturday, August 24th, where the owner Anthony, planted a long stretch of sunflowers along side the beautiful lavender fields!
Sessions cost $300 and include a 20-minute session and 8 digital images. These sessions are small and quick but mighty and I'm excited to finally have a opportunity to photograph among these massive flowers! Typical fee for a session like this is over $400 so take advantage of the savings and get beautiful artwork of your senior, child(ren), pets, or whole family.
Sessions currently start at 6pm and run every 20-minutes until 8pm. If all slots fill, I will add more sessions. If these times do not work for you please message me and I am happy to work with you and your schedule.

*Note 1: The hope is the sunflowers will be bloom on or near the full moon in August. This is on the 19th so the hope is that the flowers will all be looking beautiful on the 24th. If this is not the case or the weather is not our friend, we will reschedule sessions to a day and time that works for you.
*Note 2: Pet's are welcome to Shades of Lavender. Anthony has requested you keep them on a leash at all times as he has chickens, goats, and more roaming the farm. He also asks you clean up after your pet, so please plan accordingly.
