I’ve been married to my husband, Scott, since 2011, and in 2015, I earned the title of Mom, a role that grew again in 2018 with the arrival of my children, Annie and Teddy.

​

In December 2011, I graduated from Grand Valley State University (Go Lakers!) with a Bachelor of Science in Photography from the School of Communication. I spent eight years working as a graphic designer while my photography acted more as a hobby post-graduation.

 

In 2019, I seized the opportunity to turn my passion for photography into a business, and here I am today!

For me, photography is far more than pressing a button—it’s about capturing the essence of your newborn, child, or family. It’s finding beauty in freckles, smiles, frowns, and even the little rolls that make us human.

Through newborn photography, I craft beautiful layouts, with textures and props, while ensuring the baby remains the centerpiece. I love working with vibrant colors and playful patterns like purples, pinks, blues, plaids, or florals, while also embracing the timeless elegance of neutrals like whites, nudes, browns, and greens.

Editing children’s photos is especially rewarding—there’s nothing quite like catching that one elusive smile no one else may have noticed. Whether your child is shy or full of energy, I welcome the challenge and excitement they bring.

Family sessions hold a special place in my heart. Gathering loved ones together to laugh and share their affection creates moments that are priceless. Life is unpredictable, and these memories can so easily be forgotten or lost. My goal is to help you preserve these fleeting moments, even if only for a short time.
